Homecoming Football Miracle

Ihad planned on attending the Homecoming parade and pep rally on Friday afternoon, but due to the bad weather, they were both cancelled. Fortunately, the bad weather passed by Saturday and it was gorgeous for the IU football game vs. Northwestern.
After struggling the past few games, the Hoosiers came out and beat 22nd ranked Northwestern [...]

Katie’s rainy day

Nothing is worse than waking up to find that it’s raining outside. It means I can’t ride my bike, walking to class is wet and gross, and all day it’s gray. But even with all the gray, there is a lot of color on campus. There are the umbrellas, the rain coats, and the endless [...]

The Bonfire

This past week, IU was getting hyped up for homecoming.  I wasn’t able to visit Dunn Meadow during the day because of my schedule, but I was lucky enough to catch the music and smores at night.  Pretty good way to spend my time, I’d say.

Hoosier Hysteria and the Unsung Tradition

On Friday, October 17th, IU fans were introduced to the men’s and women’s basketball teams.  From scrimmages to 3-point contests, fans saw the new talent and I can’t wait for the season to start.
The unsung tradition at IU is our men’s soccer team.  Last night, IU played Louisville in one of the biggest match-ups of [...]

Ice cream social!

The Muslim Student Union had an ice cream social recently. The weather was so nice, we decided to play ultimate frisbee at Dunn meadow.

MSU is one of many clubs and organizations here at Indiana University. Joining one of these clubs or organizations is a great way to get invovled and meet new people!

Katie’s trip to the c-store

After a long evening of studying, sometimes you just need an ice cream fix. Have no fear if you don’t have any though, because a c-store is probably just a couple minutes away from where ever you live. Sarah and I go to the Willkie Center library and c-store a lot. You can grab a [...]

Early Voting

This past week, students had the opportunity to vote early in this coming November election.  I decided to go after my last class.  This was a good idea because the waited ended up being two hours.  It was worth it.

The Colors of Fall

This is one of my favorite times of year when the leaves start changing colors.  Especially on campus, the colors are beautiful and it has a different feel.  These are a few pictures around campus dispalying why it is considered one of the most beautiful campuses around.  Also, around this time of year, there are [...]
